- Hayley Wincott Review added: 2018.08.31★ ★ ★ ★ ★I went to the White Lion late afternoon, early evening before they were officially doing food. Chef starts at 6.30pm. The bar staff went out of there way to make sure we didn't go hungry and made us filled jacket potatoes as we needed to leave before the chef arrived. The food was delicious and well presented. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will now become regular customers.

One part has a music box and a darts board for entertainment. There is also a beer garden which is lovely to sit outside of. The atmosphere could use a little more excitement.
